🌟 2024 Highlights
• 🔨 Home Repairs that Matter: 4 families received much-needed home repairs totaling $11,000.
• 📐 Building the Dream: The Drachman Institute (University of Arizona, College of Architecture) partnered with CHOP to research and design preliminary site plans for our Gopher Field Affordable Homes Project. The first sketches of our future neighborhood took shape!
• 🌳 A Garden of Gratitude: The Angel Tree Garden now features a special appreciation plaque dedicated to all CHOP volunteers & donors — Past, Current & Future. It’s a lasting reminder that none of this happens without YOU.
🌟 2025 Highlights
• 💧⚡ Infrastructure Arrives: In June, water meters and electricity were brought to the Gopher Field property — a huge step toward turning dirt into homes!
• 🏠 Shed Sweet Shed: In August, the CHOP Board of Directors held its first meeting in our brand-new Office/Shed. Small but mighty beginnings!
• 🛠️ Tools for the People: September marked the grand opening of the Free Tool Lending Shed — neighbors helping neighbors, one borrowed hammer at a time.
• 🔧 Repairs that Restore: So far in 2025, we’ve completed 3 more home repairs totaling $15,149 — keeping families safe, secure, and smiling.
